You just cannot believe that within 5 minutes of long-tailed boat riding across Chao Praya river from surrounded skyscrapers capital, Bangkok, the scenery will totally change.  Changing from the sight of skyscrapers to greenery of trees like coconut, banana. From busy traffic road to serene narrow walk way. From roaring sound of vehicle engine to cherping sound of birds and a sound of wind breezing through bamboo and tree leaves. It’s a true paradise for bicycling in Bangkok.

This is a place where the den surrounded by Chao Praya river and it becomes an isolated island. Time magazine, "The best of Asia 2006", gave this place the best of urban oasis. This place is called Bang Krajao or known as The lung of Bangkok. It is in Prapradeang district of Samutprakarn province.once we bicycle in to this area, you will be part of slow live of villager. Your lung will be filled up with non polluted fresh air. Here us so quite that you may hear the sound of turtle passes through the side way fallen leaves. You will be amazed when the water monitor rushes in to the water when the bike pass.

 The area of 30.89 sq. meters is like the air filters that filtering the urban pollution. This area is preserved to be the green zone. The majority of the land is orchard with houses setting in distance to each other. The atmosphere is peaceful under the shade of trees. This is a trip that will surprise you that so close to chaos Bangkok there is still a place like heaven on earth.

Itinerary
Meeting at Rama III soi 66, Ruayroongreong market (Nang Linjee intersection), just 15 meters into the soi. Our tour guide will wait for you right there with bicycles for you. Once all set up is done we will cycle to a pier the embark the boat crossing to the other side of Chao Praya river.  Once we disembark, the journey begins. We will cycle pass through banana orchard, coconut orchard to Sri Nakarin conserved Forrest park for pinic style lunch in the park
The ride is a total of 35km and the tour takes approximately 6 hours, usually finishing at around 3 pm but this is variable by group.

Booking

This tour operates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you have a minimum group of 3 adults or more (or willing to pay the cost of 3 adults), we will run the trip for you on any day of the week (subject to availability).

Cycling Conditions                                                                                
We cycle about 35 km on flat and quiet back roads and some of the canal paths are elevated and quite narrow and we advise caution on these sections but otherwise it is a nice and easy ride.  Anyone who can ride a bike will enjoy this ride.
